A little bit about me

Hey! I’m James, a software engineer in the Boston area.
I love coding, geocaching and helping others learn to code.
I love cleaning up messy problems.
I love being the go-to-person for understanding problems, finding solutions, and making it work. People give me a mess. I clean it up and make it work.
I also enjoy writing it up and setting up systems so others don’t have to go through the same pain.
I started working with the Internet in the SF Bay Area in an early-stage startup and learned a ton, with great people. I branched out to solo consulting from the greater Boston area for a variety of mid-size national companies, solving any problem that came my way. I developed websites to drive leads and sales, software tools, and managed online marketing including SEO, PPC, and social.
Recently I’ve been employed by a global company developing production-grade software and helping others to learn to code.
I’ve been developing websites and web content basically since websites were invented.
Been there, done that, in a good way, because it’s fun.
